About Us

Our Story

Together, we are building a stronger, healthier Fort Erie, one meal at a time.

Fort Erie Meals on Wheels is a community-driven organization dedicated to delivering nutritious meals and companionship to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness. Since our founding, we’ve been committed to supporting independence and well-being by ensuring that no one in our community has to face food insecurity or isolation. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we provide more than just meals—we offer friendly connections and peace of mind to families and caregivers.

Our Mission

We improve the food security and well-being of our community by preparing and delivering nutritious, quality, and affordable meals.

We all travel through life under different circumstances. For some of us, the road is smooth and then suddenly becomes rocky, for some of us trying times are stamped on the horizon. The truth is no matter what path we travel we will all experience periods of struggle. But we do not have to do battle alone.

Whether it’s an injury, illness, disability, the loss of a loved one, divorce or simply the natural slowing that comes with age, at some point all lives will be touched by hardship. In those moments, Fort Erie Meals on Wheels exists to provide the comfort of healthy nutritious meals. We will all face challenging times, but we don’t have to do it on an empty stomach.

How We Can Help You

Whether it’s maintaining independence at home or offering peace of mind to loved ones, we’re here to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.

We deliver more than just a bite to eat.

We bring care, comfort, and connection to those who need it most. Our services support seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness by providing healthy food options, delivered right to their door.
